We’re currently distributing aid inside the Donbas region of Ukraine - an area close to the front line where the conflict is very prominent. Civilians there are unable or reluctant to leave their homes for many reasons, but supplies are becoming more and more limited. We’re providing weekly food parcels, hygiene packs, baby bundles, medical supplies and more to those who would otherwise remain unreached by larger charities.
When you purchase an item or pack in our aid shop, your money is used to buy that exact item in-country. A shopping list is generated for our distribution team who then buy the items in Ukraine for immediate distribution.
Women and children have already started crossing the border from Ukraine into neighbouring countries such as Poland and Hungary in their thousands. Many thousands, even millions, more are expected to follow suit over the next few weeks.
We’re putting together emergency food parcels to greet them with. These food parcels contain everything a family of 4 would need to stay fed and watered for a week. Due to limited or no cooking facilities, the items are mostly non-perishable, pre-packaged and easy cook items, although we will also be supplementing with some fresh fruit and vegetables too.
The parcel contains essentials such as breakfast biscuits, energy bars, long-life milk and bread, tinned meat, fruit and vegetables, instant soups, pasta and noodles, tea, water and multivitamins.
In Eastern Ukraine, it’s customary to take off your shoes in people’s houses and wear house slippers. It is a mark of respect for each other.
Even during the war, when a side of the building has been bombed and there is dust and debris all around, this tradition persists exemplifies the profound impact of preserving daily life routines in reinstating dignity to individuals during times of crisis. However, this also means that slippers wear out much quicker.

The pack contains essentials such as toothpaste, shampoo, bodywash, wet wipes, laundry detergent, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, ensuring that the women and children fleeing the violence can meet their immediate hygiene needs, wherever they are.

Instant noodles are the most frequently requested item by those who are displaced or living near the frontline in Ukraine.
They are high in fat, carbohydrates, and flavour! Noodles are also very easy to prepare with limited resources and are easy to store and transport when on the move. Plus noodles can be eaten as a stand-alone meal, or can be mixed with other ingredients.

The Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital No.1 in Kharkiv City, Ukraine was in urgent need of bedding for their children’s beds.
At the start of the war in 2022, this hospital was targeted and severely. damaged. It has taken a long time to repair, and their is still a lot of work to be done. As a result one of their most needed items in bedding for children’s hospital beds.
