Ukraine: How to Help

We know that so many of you, just like us, have been anxiously looking on as the Russia-Ukraine conflict has escalated.

We are already on the ground in the Eastern Ukraine, where the conflict is at its most precarious, evacuating those with reduced mobility directly from their homes, and delivering life-saving aid, prioritising wherever is the greatest human need.

So far, circa 3.7 million women and children have already crossed the border from Ukraine into neighbouring countries such as Poland and Hungary (*Source: UNHCR), but this is just the beginning. Many more thousands, even millions (estimated to reach 5 million) will become refugees as the situation continues to worsen.

How to help Ukrainian refugees

  • A man wearing a red shirt with 'Refugee' written on it, standing next to a partially open van filled with blue travel bags with orange accents. The Aid Shop.

    Purchase aid

Sending aid from the UK is expensive and untimely, plus, there’s a shortage storage options at the border. Instead, you can buy desperately needed aid items for Ukrainian refugees directly from our site. The items will be purchased and distributed immediately on the ground.

  • Three men are moving a person on a stretcher at a train station platform next to a blue and yellow train car. One man has gray hair and is wearing gray cargo pants, another has dark hair and is wearing a blue shirt, and the third has a beard and is wearing a green jacket.

    Make a donation

Consider making a donation towards our emergency fund for Ukraine. The money raised will be used to support our efforts evacuating vulnerable people from high-conflict areas in Eastern Ukraine. We’re also working to support Ukrainian families in Hungary, and are purchasing additional aid as and when it’s needed.
